Cricket Club

Stogumber Cricket Club was founded in 1875 and now boasts one of the best appointed grounds in the West Country. It runs two teams in the West Somerset League

Gardening Club

The Gardening Club meets, normally on the first Thursday on the month, for talks on a variety of gardening topics, and arranges visits. Annual membership is £10, but visitors are always welcome (£2 entry). For more information please contact the chairman John Leech (01984 656689).

History Society

The History society focuses on topics of local interest. It meets, normally on the second Tuesday in the month at Wick House at 8pm, for talks and discussions, and arranges visits. For more information please contact the chairman Brian Kirk (01984 656602).

Fourth Thursday Club

This has replaced the Women's Institute. As its name suggests it normally meets on the afternoon of the fourth Thursday in the month, in Deane Close Common room. A varied programme of talks and visits is offered. There is no annual membership - all meetings are on a "pay as you go" basis.

The Youth Club meets in the Village Hall from 7:00 - 8:30 on Mondays during term time.
